Do’s – appreciated practices

  • Relevant Posts only: OrthoQuest is focused on Equine Locomotor Pathology. This includes everything related to this topic: anatomy, biomechanics, clinical aspects, pathology, diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation, epidemiology and so on, of the horse (limbs and spine).
  • English: all post should be in the English language only so that every member can understand.
  • All members are expected to talk and behave in a polite and professional manner.
  • Value for time.
  • Respond to messages: No one likes to be ignored so respond appropriately to the right messages
  • Integrity: all shared information, especially images and video’s, are NOT public. This information can never be used without explicit permission of the person who posted these data.

Dont’s – Practices which are banned by the moderators

  • No irrelevant content
  • Do not change group name and icon: Members are prohibited from changing group name and group icon. Only moderators will do it as and when necessary.
  • Excessive self-promotion: You can use the platform to showcase some nice work you have done. However, it should be related information and excessive self-promotion will not be entertained.
  • No group invite links: Members are prohibited from sharing external group invite links in the group. Only moderators will do it as and when necessary.
  • No multiple entries: Only one access to the group is allowed (one telephone number).
  • Job Postings: Job posting are not allowed. Exceptions can be made: Moderator’s permission needed upfront.

Personal Opinion

The posts in the group by any member shall be their personal views. OrthoQuest shall not be liable for any such information provided.

Important: Removal from the Group

Any deviation from the group guidelines will be taken seriously and offenders will be removed from the group permanently without notice.
Note: Members who are removed from the group will not be added back to the group. So please be careful about what you share with the group. This is done to protect the interest and privacy of group members.
